Thanks a million.
What is the PTA?
The Langtree School Association is a registered charity (Charity No 281545) and is run by parents and carers with a child/ren at Langtree School in Woodcote. All parents and carers are entitled and welcome to attend meetings.
The charity objectives are:
To advance the education of the pupils of the school by providing and assisting in the provision of facilities for education at the school (not normally provided through national funding).
What does the PTA do?
The PTA organises a number of social and fund raising activities throughout the year as well as providing refreshments at school functions where required.
Donations are made to school whenever possible be it for something small but important like student rewards or a larger project we may be working towards for a while.
If there is anything that you would like to see us doing or organising please let us know.
How can I get involved?
The best way is to come along to one of the meetings. You will find us a friendly bunch (usually) who are trying to provide that little bit extra for all of the Langtree pupils. It is a great way to meet other parents and like your children make new friends.
Meetings are normally held in a local pub.
We are always looking for new ideas and if you are unable to make the meeting we are always happy to hear from you by phone, email or via Facebook.
There are many ways you can get involved, from helping out occasionally front of house or in the background or would you like to come and run an event with the support of the committee or anything in between – there is something for everyone – it is up to you!
All are welcome – it would be great to meet you.
