Class of 2024 Exam Results

We are delighted to celebrate the excellent exam results achieved by our year 11 students in their GCSE and other public exams.

The class of 2024 have an Attainment 8 score of 56.4 points and 80% achieved 5 or more level 2 passes including English and Maths. 37% of the grades were grade 7 or above (equivalent to the old A grade).

Against the backdrop of falling results nationally (as grades are brought back into line with pre-pandemic results), we are delighted that our students have exceeded even our high expectations of them. This is a great achievement for our students and the staff who worked so hard to support them.

It can be invidious to name students who did extremely well as so many of our students achieved, or even exceeded , the extremely high targets set for them.

Students such as Erin (Eight 9s, one 8, one 7), Eleni (Seven 9s, three 8s), Megan (Six 9s, one Distinction Star, two 8s, one 7), Nina (Six 9s, two 8s, two 7s), Evie (Six 9s, three 8s, one 7) performed extremely well.

We are equally proud of the students who made great progress while with us. Jack, Sam, Monty, Yeva and Mary were around two grades above their targets based upon their KS2 results. This reflects their hard work, resilience and willingness to go above and beyond our expectations to achieve the very best results they are capable of.

Some of our greatest successes are students who will not top any attainment lists but battled incredibly hard to overcome some significant personal challenges to achieve results that they should be very proud of. We are particularly proud of the Ukrainian students who joined us at such a turbulent time in their country’s history. The way they integrated into our community was a testament to their resilience and our school’s community spirit.
