School Reports

Students receive 3 progress reports (shortened to PR) a year.

A report looks something like this:

Year 10 and Year 11 reports also contain columns with the target and prediction for each subject. This is hidden in Key Stage 3 and sent to parents in a separate document.

We use a 4 point scale for ourΒ 3 ATL (Attitude to Learning) judgements:
β€’ Approach to Learning
β€’ Homework
β€’ Conduct

A full description of each attitude to learning score is included on page 2 of the report.

We use A, O, T and B to indicate the comparison of a student’s current predicted grade against their target.

There are no A, O, T, B grades on 7PR1 – it is too early to assess the students.

Tutors and Pastoral Leaders are responsible for celebrating the success of students with excellent AtLs and for putting in place intervention plans for any student whose AtL scores are below expectations.

Team Leaders are responsible for coordinating the actions for students whose predicted grade is below their target grade within their subject area.

The Senior Team will review the progress of cohorts, sub-groups, departments and key individuals and monitor the impact of any interventions implemented.

Usually, if you have a concern/question about a particular score for a particular subject, it is best to contact the student’s subject teacher directly. If your concern/question is about the report as a whole, or is more broad, contact the student’s tutor or head of year.
